My daughter and I dyed Easter eggs tonight using a variety of natural materials.
These eggs were dyed in combinations of turmeric, beet juice and blueberry juice.
These eggs were dyed in a bath of simmering onion skins. We pressed leaves from the yard against them and wrapped them in cheesecloth before cooking them in the onion water. I love the way they turned out.

Those are GORGEOUS! You’ll have to post a note to SHS next Easter so I’ll remember to come back here and look at them. I’d LOVE to do something really decorative like this.
